96 Auto Tranny Maxima Problems- HELP!Please!

Okay 1996 Maxima automatic tranny

here are the codes I'm getting
0304 - knock sensor
0504 - A/T control unit or circuit fault
1102 - Vehicle Speed sensor or circuit fault

I have the Haynes manual but can't make out where the Vehicle speed sensor is to be able to remove/check/replace it? anyone have better description or pics?

other than that any idea what could be going wrong? I cleared the codes twice and got the same codes over again. I'm thinking its a faulty sensor.

The vehicle speed sensor could be causing your A/T control unit fault. I have no idea where it's located, my guess would be somewhere on the tranny.

The KS code isn't related so you probably need a new one.

1102 is the vehicle speed sensor AT, the normal vehicle speed sensor code is 0104. You have a few circuits on your trans either loose or completely open.
