I'm in the market for a new OEM muffler to my 99 SE. Any suggestions where I'd start? Tried e-bay, but nobody sells them. Thank you.

 

I dont know if its possible to find a new muffler but if your can get by with a used one the I'd check the classified section see if anyone has one there, if not then junk yard.

 

Maybe I phrased it wrong. What I meant was that I'm in the market for a CHEAP new OEM muffler, if that's even possible. Obviously every Nissan dealer has an OEM muffler. I called about 10 dealers by my house and they went everywhere from $289 to $348.

 

i know this place.. try looking at you local phone book, then visit your the closest nissan dealer you have, and pay a visit to your parts department.

 

I have a OEM muffler off my 96. It's not new like you wanted but it's still in good shape and still has the chrome "surround" on the tip.
