4th gen/5th gen accelerator assembly interchangeable

Are the 4th and 5th gen accelerator assemblies interchangeable. i would like to swap the 5th gen AE assembly for my 4th gen assembly.

All that work when you could just put a new cover on it? Why? I don't know about compatibility.

A couple bolts that can't be removed without dropping the steering wheel... Question remains. Why all that work when you could just buy or make your own cover for $10.

something to do. I will buy the whole thing and see how it goes. if it doesn't work i can always take of the pedal and mount it that way. thanks for the replies

yeah they are the same casue they are throttle cable. if it was e-gas, it would be a different story. let em nkow how it goes and it isnt hard to change if you know what you are doing and plus it is cheap.

yep its 26 for just the pedal and its also 26 for the full assembly so why not get the full assembly
