Mods don't add to the value of the car, as a general rule.

My car is like yours, except no mods, and it's about $5000. As far as I know mods detract from the wholesale value so yours would have to be less than 5. the low resale value of the Maxima is a great reason to keep it and keep driving. Normally on the used market a Max is the equivalent of a Civic, and most people here would rather have the HP of the Maxima. That guy who said 8 grand maybe you should email him and offer him 7250 and take the 2250 profit all the way to the bank!

i think it all depends on where you are, if your modded your def. better off selling it yourself then trading it in...i've seen so many stupid cars go for a lot of money around here because their selling to people that know nothing and presenting it well. a friend of mine sold a 91 accord, auto with 130k on it a cracked up body kit and some old school rockford subs for almost $4k, and a 98 max around here with that millage would probably go for 7-8 or so, its all about findin the right person

I dont think you'll get much more than 5 grand for it which is a shame cause the max is such a great car.

edit: id buy it if i had the money looks like a great max.

haha, keep in mind that that works great for those looking for max's. I cant wait till next summer when i see 97s and 98s for like 4-5k w/ low mileage! it is a great bang for the buck right now, especially if your looking for a 4th gen.

These matter:
98 Maxima SE
5 spd
100k
fully loaded, power everything
sunroof
leather heated seats
These don't:
rear brakes just fixed (calipers, rotors, pads) just got fixed today! $500 job
All new NGK Coppers (replaced 3 months ago)
OBX type H catback (6 months old)
warpspeed ypipe (4 motnhs old)
Exedy stage 1 clutch (1 month old)
Diamond cut clear corners
Red/Clears
KYB GR-2 (4 months old)
Maxspeed Springs (4 months old)
Short Ram K&N intake
AE Headlights
Kenwood MPV-625
Pioneer 4 way and 3 way speakers
Remove the mods and sell them separately.
