bummed about Nissan changing the rear sway bar.

In November I meet with Trey and Dan at Addco we start going over a 04 Maxima sway bar, we start talking about the different things we can do, the different colors, packaging, etc. Everything looks good. So I am about to place this order with them and what does Nissan do? Change the sway bar on the 05 Maxima.

So I what I'm left with is a sway bar that is one signature away from being built. So I need your oppinion, should I make this bar still? I would need to make minimum 50 of these bars for my first run, would the market (you) support this?

I need your opinions please.

PS - We can come in at about $40 under Stillen's price.

Is it a big change from the 04 to the 05 ?

Was your Addco design any different than the Stillen ?

Tks Bob

Is there any way the 04 or 05 bars are interchangeable?

Maybe include different brackets or whatever with the "other" year cars...

I plan on buying the stillen sway bar next week for my 04. What will be the cost of the BERK sway bar and what is the performance difference from the Stillen?

I would buy one, but I would also want a FTSB. Stillen's prices is the only thing holding me back.

I am also interested in the FTSB but price is keeping me away. I think you should look into making one of those as well.

Here's a question to ask- Why did Nissan change the design? Some here have complained of rear strut noises. That noise has been associated with the rear sway bar. Perhaps Nissan is fixing problems with the 6th gen. Can you tell us how stuff has changed?

All I know is that part number with Nissan has changed from the 04 to 05. I'll try to get one up on a lift and compare the two.

I didn't like your choices in the poll, so did not vote. My vote: I would certainly consider your rear sway bar given your intended price. Would want to wait until I saw some comments on this site about how well it performs before I commit.
