how do i loosen my trim panel without damage

how do i loosen my trim panel around my gear shift without any damage done to it. Any suggestion would be helpul.

use a flat head screw driver and gently push it between the small hole and push up. then do the same all around. the first time it will be tight.

Use a door panel removal tool, works on all panels. You can get it from an autopart store or stop a guy in a mattco or snap-on truck. They only cost around $5.00 and won't hurt your interior or break those plastic snaps either. Kinda looks like a screwdriver with a bent tip and a v at the end instead of a flat head.
