fog light wiring question

fog light wiring question

i'm buying a set of fogs that have 2 different options, anyone know how i can wire these into the parking lights so they go on with the parking lights, but also have a switch to choose which option i want it on?

check the stickies, fog light re wire should be in therer, and this is almost the same

aftermarket fogs with aftermarket switch, running all my own wires and not using any stock wires

why dont you just wire them independently that way you can have en on when you want?

because i want them to automatically come on when i turn on my parking lights

wire them into your clearance or side light. that way when you have your parking lights on, you can either have fogs on or off. would look nicer with parking lights rather than just fogs by themselves

RED = 12v
Black = ground
Then run a wire from 12v - to signal wire of corner lamps

Mine are relayed off the corner lamp. When the parking lights are on, triggers relay to feed 12v to the aux lights. If you wanna add a switch in the cabin, be prepared to fish wire through the firewall (which I don't like doing). If this's the case, you can put the switch anywhere. I'd put the switch on a ground... don't like 12v juice running around. If you absolutely need a diagram, I will draw 1 up.

yea but my question is that my fogs have 2 different options, driving and fogs, and there is a switch to go in between the two. but i want my fogs to turn on automatically with the parking lights, then i can choose which one i want

When you turn on your car's parking lights, you will then have to option to switch between driving/fog lights on your aftermarket foglights. red to corner lamp red, black to ground, which is anything touching the frame of the car [best ground]. there should have been instructions with yours. I bought mien for 10 bucks and had very detailed instructions
