i just installed aftermarket pedals and i am a little worried about the clutch pedal. the brackets supplied with the aftermarket pedals are pretty thick. maybe about 1/8 of an inch. would this effect the travel of the clutch pedal? it feels okay when i shift but i am still wondering if i am pushing the clutch all the way down to the floor. what do you think? any better ways to mount the new pedals so i wont worry???

Hmmm, I would guess that if your car starts that you are getting the clutch all the way down... I thought that most 5spds required the clutch to be all the way in to start the car (not to shift). If it works, you are probably ok. If you are real worried, you could probably go to a good transmission shop and have them check...
