North East Snow

<whining>It figures that I'd wash and detail the Maxima and now in Maryland were projected to get 4~8 inches of snow today -- then another 3 inches tonight. I guess the Maxima will stayed parked in the garage (clean) until the roads clear and dry. Meanwhile I'll have to drive the wifes Cherokee... </whining>

Well, here in New England, they are calling for 20-30" over the next 24 hours! I'm loving it. The Max does just fine thank you very much! Bring it on!

I am in Baltimore now looking at my Max parked from my window. Poor thing is entrenched in snow. I have been itching to wash all the grime building up from that last time it snowed, the first break in the weather, she is getting a wash. I was thinking about asking a nearby residence if i could rent their unused garage.

Maxium - same here, I wanted to wash my car so bad the day before the storm but my wife said that I had mental problems IF I was thinking of doing that. Needless to say, I should have did it!!! She was laughing at me when I was getting the snow off the car. I didnt use the normal cheap brush. I wrapped a stick in a towel. It took forever but I couldnt risk damaging the paint. She couldn't believe how far I was going.

It's still sitting in the garage clean... Wife thinks I'm weird also so don't feel bad... She thinks I bought the car to sit in the garage. I told her that the house needed a car for it so...

MaxMus,

Yep, 2500 miles in 3 days. I live in a small casino town on the Colorado River 80 miles south of Vegas. My Max is going to be seeing the Vegas strip tomorrow for the first time right after a visit to Desert Nissan for an oil change and tire rotation and to figure out why my headlights SUCK!

You guys be careful there! Protect those Maximas!

Well, I had to dig out the Max as well this morning. My garage is mostly storage so no cars get parked in it. I had her on the side of the garage and the snow drifts were almost up to the bottom of the windows. So I dug out the other 2 vehicles in my driveway (roomates and gf's truck) parked them on the lawn and called my uncle to plow me out. Sigh. Maxima's are not meant for this NE winter

I guess I take my 3 car garage for granted. It is nice to have all 3 whips in the garage safe from the weather (ok, it is 50 and sunny) as well as the vandals.

WHOA! 26 inches!!! sorry to hear that, now I'm glad we only got 5 inches down here, seems so petty now. Snow driving is for 4WD rigs at best, so at this point I'm happy I still have a Jeep Cherokee to drive around in this mess.

We got about an inch or so up here, but our east coast (Halifax NS) is apparently getting dumped on!

At last count we had 28" here. Didn't hear a final tally, but Salem, the next town over, got 38" according to the paper. I spent four hours clearing the driveway, but my Maxine was safe and dry in the garage. Can't say the same for my wife's 350Z. It's buried, and having white paint, virtually invisible.
