I replaced my battery about a month ago in my max I just got back from a week trip where my car just sat in the cold of PA, the battery was dead. I got a jump, let it run for an 1/2 hour then drove a 1/2 hour to work. Now I go to leave work and it is dead again, did I get a bad battery or do you think I have an alternator problem? I have 103k miles. Thanks in advance.

 

You can either return battery if still under warranty; or go to Autozone for them to recharge with the machine, at the same time they will tell you if battery took the charge and is fine or it it was a defective one and may tell you if you need alternator as well; all for free. Sometimes when battery drains totally, specially in cold weather a jump start may help, but won't recharge it totaly.
