hmm, the pics were much higher res. before i uploaded them to photobucket dammit.

Oh, and the reason theres only pics of that one side is because the other side has a 16inch SE wheel due to a flat tire I got recently.

Was this a recent shipment of the D2's? Any problems with noises, like the coilovers in the past have had?

Luke and Bijan, I sent the pics, let me know if you get em.

These are the first shipment of D2's, I got them a few months ago and I must say they are absolutley horrible. They make so much noise and make the car sound like a total POS. The ride quality isint that bad, but the noise makes it seem to be alot worse that it really is. I should have just kept the eibachs on there (as seen in my sig), the car felt so much more solid before I installed the D2's on there.

Also if you're gonna be taking them apart, you may want to try new poly spring seats from Summit Racing.

I'm not sure if the seat would be the same for A32 and A33.

about the D2's, that stinks maybe they need some driving time to get the noise out of them

It was my friend's Sony Cybershot P71 (not 100% certain on model number).

Thats what I was hoping in the beginning, but after 10,000 miles since install, Ive realized it will make noise until I take them apart and fix them. My car is a daily driver for my job which is why i've put so many miles on it since ive installed them. (courier).

The springrates are 7kg/in Front, 5kg/in Rear... I like the way the ride, I have the dampening on 2/3's (3/3=max stiffness) turn in the front and 3/4 in the back. I like the setup as far as daily drivability and the car handles well. (see my previous posts about the annoying noises they make)

Sorry to hear all of your troubles with the D2 coilovers, I hope with the latest GD that I am in, D2 will tightened it's quality control. Also I remember reading that UrbanImports shipped u a replacement strut and it is performing worse then the one u sent in? Did u get another replacement strut?

I never contacted UrbanImports about a replacement strut. . . perhaps I should, thing is, I might need 2 replacement struts . . or perhaps I just need to get some new rubber spring seats from summit racing as someone mentioned here.
