Hey guys will a 2000 maxima fog light fit a 02 maxima i need to know 100%

 

According to Dave Burnett at Nissan, an 00 foglight will not fit an 02, you have to order the 02 fogs (I called him 2 weeks ago to ask the same question).

 

No - the part numbers are different.

 

I tried this already and the parts are not interchangable. I ended up screwing myself out of money and didnt research it.

it'll fit if you got the 00 bumper to go with it.

 

And then get an '00 just so you even it all out.

But otherwise, the 5.5gen bumper has a more oval opening for the fog lights, while the 5 gen is round.

But you *could* be like one of those kids in kindergarten who was determined to fit the triangle block into the circular hole.

 

Im one of those kids so thats what I tried but I still couldnt get it without really cutting into the front bumper.

 

Just for your info there are companies out now that make after market foglights which are about half price of OE ones.
