When I turn my wheel all the way to the left and ACCELERATE from a stop I get a sort of Popping sound, almost like the trans is slipping. I don't understand why this would only happen when the wheel is turned all the way to the left. It's only been doing it for about 2 weeks, it's really not that bad, just enough so that I notice it. Also, last night while in traffic in a parking garage when I had my foot on the brake, even just enough to keep the car from moving, if I turned the wheel I would get a sort of popping sound no matter where I moved the wheel, after I left the garage it stopped doing it. Any Ideas?

I have an 02 auto SE dropped on Tein H-Techs with Tokico Illumina struts.

Check your CV joint. They'll pop when they get worn out, especially when you turn all the way one way or the other.

 

Sounds like the CV joint. Hard to belive that a joint would be bad on an 02 so soon. Nothing to mess around with though, get it checke out ASAP.
