my tranny has been acting up latley... is this a problem??
usually when i start my car when its cold and start driving right away ( i braley let it idle) if im going up the block and i keep my foot on the gas steadily in 2nd or 3rd at like 2,000 rpm the car will shudder, and jerk in a pattern, feel as if the engine isnt gettin enuff gas or sumtin... beats me.. it throws me back and forth in my seat untill i give it more gas and then it will go away. once the car is warmed up tho this doesn happen
anyone have any idea???
anyone have any idea???
NOOOO not another problem!!
any codes poping up?
could be a mis-fire
maybe your not giving enough gas, sometimes I think I'm pressing hard on the gas but I'm not (bucking 1st gear) and its usually its the blistery cold in the car that has my foot numb.
let the car idle for atleast a min then drive, it cant be good on the car driving after just starting up, plus it must be like -10 there in NY so letting the car get some warmth is a good idea.

Let it warm up for a few minutes, then drive away slowly until it reaches operating temperature.
It's sounds more like an engine misfire thats causing your bucking, not the tranny. When was your last major service? Clean the TB, check the ECTS & PCV valve. If the PCV is gummed up, it could be getting stuck open or closed in very cold weather.

that has happened to mine lately...people are diagnosing it as my diff bearings going...but I am not leaking tranny fluid out of the driver side axle seal which is charateristic of them failing...although it does whine pretty loud in 1st...but not in any other gears...which leads me to believe it's fuel related or spark related (fuel pump, injectors, FPR) or (coil packs)...all those fuel items I am replacing soon as I need to b4 I boost....and the coil packs which are really expensive I will pick up soon hopefully...as well as a 5th gen tranny...so rule out anything and to basically make my car a beast again...
I will let you know how it turns out...
