Suspension drop pictures and advice

I want to drop my 91 SE. What do you think is best? I am definetly going to use KYB GR2's, but the springs are my question. I want "sport" not "lowrider." The Eibachs aren't low enough. What does everyone think of Suspension Techniques? Or B&G? Is a different shock/strut reccomneded to get a decent stance?

Well first off, go with Koni. If you're going to drop it, you don't want to be changing the struts out every 6 months. As for the springs, I have not heard anything bad about either of those.

errbody says kyb is crap and to get either tokicos or konis. intrax offers a 1.7 drop and eibach is a 1.2 drop. i think intrax will run you 200ish and eibachs are more for performance.... and the for the struts, well konis are like 4-5 hundred atleast. and tokicos i think you can get for 310 shipped in group deal section.

edit: yu wanted pics

wait Eibach are not low enough but you dont want lowrider springs.

IMO go with Eibach...check my cardomain page and look at my 93 when it was white and I first put the wheels on (I have the page and description on there so you should find it) and you will see Eibachs. To me they are perfect for performance...I just wanted to be lower so I changed to Intrax. The other springs you mentioned are not that much lower (if any) than the Eibach and do not perform near as well.

If you go with Eibach you will be fine with KYB (Craig B has had them on with his Eibach for over 2 years) but if you go any lower OR you want more performance then you need to go with Tokico or Koni. Koni if you can afford it.

I do have KYB on my intrax BUT I wasnt planning on keeping them on. I had another maxima at the time that was stock and I was going to buy new Konis and put the KYBs on the other maxima. That maxima is sold now so I will driving on the KYBs until they are worn out.

My opinion is that you need to go with Eibach and Koni but that is an expensive combo there. It is the best performance combo though.

well not everyone says KYB are crap. They just dont need to be on a slammed car.

As I mentioned above (I am too slow a typer) I also have pics of the car on Eibach. I have pics of the car on eibach and intrax.
