Sorry if this has been brought up before. Today I went to move my car out of the driveway as a friends was in front of me and when I put in the key and started the car. The right rear window rolled down all by itself! Strange. Does anyone know what could cause this?

When I start my car after its already warm. The RPM will sit at 1100 rpm likes its in cold start mode. It will sit there for like a few mins and then slowly move back down to normal. If u drive and then stop its fine. Just on start when engine already hot. Could it be a dirty throttle body? Something I need to adjust? How can u clean the throttle body on VG motor without pulling it apart to much? Its going in for a timing belt replacement soon so I might get nissan to check it out. But any suggestions would be great on the above strange happenings!

Well as strange as its sounds it could be an Xfile.... Anyways I got more information.. It only does it on wet days..... (the window) Does anyone know or have had this happen before?? Pls help!

 

i'd replace the driver's window control switch. and maybe the one in the door that the window rolls down. i'd say it's most likely the switch in the drivers door because after it rolls down, you have to push the switch to roll it back up and it doesn't do it again because the moisture joint has been broken.
