I'm getting this strange pinging/clanking noise from my car. It sounded like something was loose or something. And it seem to be coming from the engine bay. At first, I thought it's coming from the Stillen rsb and I only had to retighten it. However, the sound doesn't seem to be coming from the rear. I also thought it was either my CAI or FSTB. I look into it and checked all the screws, and everything seem to be tighten, so it can't be either of them. Any ideas? Don't you just hate that, hearing strange noises coming from your car, and have no idea where it's coming from? Darn it! I'm going to check again tomorrow, but I would like to hear what you guys think it might be. Thanks!

Does the noise occur when you car is moving, turning, etc...or while it is stationary? Does the engine have to be on? More details would be help to diagnose the problem. On my car, I had this horrible creaking noise whenever I made a right turn. I had everything on the suspension and under the hood checked out. Nothing. It turned out to be a bent "intermediate exhaust pipe." Cost to repair it was $75. The noise is now gone and the Max is quiet on the turns again.

The noise comes from when the car is in motion. So, I would hear it sometime when I drive, turning, etc. I don't hear it all the time, but very frequently. I really wonder is it the rsb. Problem is that if I want to retighten the rsb I have to jack up the car, remove the wheels, etc. I just don't have the time right now. I hope that I can solve this mystery.
