Can a bad camshaft position sensor cause my car not to start?!?!
It will. When I disconnect the wire feeding it, the engine wont start. But if the engine is running, if I disconnect the wire then, it will not stop it from running. I assume a bad camshaft pos sensor diagnosis signal sent to the ecu will disalloy it to start the engine.

I had it checked out at the dealer (I know, but it was free
). The starter wasn't not putting out enough voltage causing a misread in the position sensor. From everone else and if you tested the sensor it could be the sensor.
