when I open them to instal DDE angel eyes?

I'd say it would depend upon the color of your car. Maybe if you have a dark color.

seriously though....I'd try to find a picture of someone with them blacked out who has the same color max as you and see if you like the look....

You should definitely do it with a black Max, that's so hot. I can't remember the guy's name, but there was a well-known member with an 02 or 03 black, with blacked out HIDs and he recently sold his Max. Anybody know who I'm talking about?

Why don't you just go to Irish's cardomain page and look. There's a reason he's the Home Depot mod king.

you should do it, it really does make a difference.

im completing the look with smoked sides soon, the SE tails, the dark tint, CF eyelids, and the blacked out chrome window trim, but smoked definitley makes the car look more evil.

eh.... I am half and half. I am not too sure what I like more. either way looks good... but only do it on a dark/blk car. its up to you man.

I will be blacking EVERYTHING out on my car as well starting as soon as it warms up. Makes a black max look really intimidating!!

You seriously need to get a homepage at cardomain or somewhere with lots of pics. I wanna see how you rmax looks when you finish the smoked sidemarkers.
