Any one else's center console squeaking?

I had just finally got rid of or accepted the squeak that came from the rear of the car (I think it was the cargo net), and now the entire center console is squeaking over bumps and when you press on it.

I'm starting to think this car was put together by GM.

Anyone else have this problem?

Yes mine squeaks also.
Dealership said they would replace the console and that the new one is made of different material.
Don't know if this is true but i'll keep you posted.

Yeap. I heard it's due to the cold weather which sounds very true. I'll wait till weather gets a little warmer before I start taking parts out to find the source.

This also happened to me (and is worse in the cold).... if I press on the cup holder door, it'll depress just fine (and click once), but I guess there isn't enough 'oomph' in the cylinders to push it open the rest of the way without a little help from me.

Me Too! Everything squeaks! If the passenger seat is too far upright...squeak! If I make a hard turn, I thing the roof squeaks! And when I play it loud, the mirror blurs!

I looked and looked (acutally listened). My squeak emulated from the base of the hand brake. I orig pressed against and around the cup holder and pushed against the console from the right to stop the squeak, but am convinced it is at the base of the hand brake....hold it firm and see if your squeak stops.

The creaks and squaks seem to originate from my dashboard area whenever I hit bumps and potholes. It would be nice if the interior was more solid, but I like the performance and looks so much that I can accept its flaws. Until I can afford a Beemer or a Benz. My dads lexus Es300 sqeaks a little in the cold too, so I think the temperatures in buffalo have alot to do with it.
