60,000 mile service

i am taking my 00 in on monday for a 60,000 mile service. any suggestions on what needs to be done? i have had basic oil services every 3,000 miles but that's about it.

Usually in a normal 60k, you get oil change, trans service, coolant service, rotate and balance, wiper inserts, and a whole buch of additives to your fuel system, trans, motor, etc.

i would have them check out all the fluids (brake-power steering-coolant) and tranny oil. get the oil changed only if its time. i would also consider getting them to replace the plugs. if you have not done the coolant or tranny oil then go ahead and have that done. rotation and balance only if its time. inspect/replace air filter. thats about all off the top of my head. stay away from any fuel injection cleaners that run around 80 bucks when you can get a bottle to BG44k or chevron techron and accomplish the same thing.

at 60k at a nissan dealer its oil change, coolant flush, brake flush, rotate and balance, wiper inserts, additves for oil-coolant-fuel. tranny flush is every 45k. but every 30k should power steering and fuel induction service.

Regarding to clean the fuel injection or throttle body? Any opinions on when do we need to clean it by the dealer? Or how can we tell when does it need to be done?

Also, what's the difference between those two?

where i go the 60k is same as 30k and they dont flush your brakes, sucks huh, had i known that i woulda never done the "service." i woulda seen how much everything else cost put together (minus the rotation) and do the rest myself...

Change the fuel filter & PCV valve as well. Get the two belts checked & replaced if necessary. Flush radiator.
