2k2 6spd shift **** and clutch

i've seen a couple threads where people have done this, however i haven't been able to find a how-to. a couple things...

can i lower the shift **** know to a lower height (not the STS). i'm talking vertical height? how-to? pics?

can i shorten the clutch travel length? i've read it done on g35. but can it be done with a 2k2 max se? would this mod have any negative effects on my tranny?

any help would be greatly appreciated...

I think the procedure is almost the same as the G35... I believe the person who posted it here got it from the same forums you did... the biggest thing ya have to be careful of is to make sure the gears fully disengage when the clutch is not depressed. It might also mess with the cruise control. Have ya tried doing a search for it?
