Greddy SP II?

I was wondering how happy everyone is with their setups. Im curious as to the noise level from the Greddy. I have Magnaflows on now, but im looking for something different. Does anyone possibly have a sound clip of the SP II? I made a quick vid of the magnaflows, maybe someone could tell if it compares?

Thanks
Mike

KC, why are you over your Magnaflow's?

I'm totally happy with mine. Not sure which version Bryan from Berk used for my car but they look a bit different than the pic above...

The Greddy really is a great exhaust. Way to many people on altimas.net run magnaflow and its so common. The people who actually want a premade exhaust went with the greddy and supposedly it has good gains too. Suppose to stay quieter too once headers are installed.

How does a car get quieter with the addition of headers? None of my previous cars have...

I mean the greddy would be quieter than the magnaflows if each setup had headers. Ive heard some clips but then again this is the sp2 and those were the evo exhaust.

does someone have a rear shot of there car with the Magnaflow 14830 I would like to compare to stock I don't want anything to crazy. How load is the droning inside the car? My 02 3.5L alti had the Stillen system and it was loud inside the car and it drove me crazy so i sold them. i just want to make sure that i am not wasting money on something that I am going to have to pull off in two weeks.

KCmax what model Magnaflows do you have? if you get rid of them let me know because I think that it sounds great driving by
Thanks,
Automon

When I first saw your post about putting Magnaflows on the Maxima I thought what? I love Magnaflows myself and have used them on my Mustang before and they were great but I thought it wouldn't sound good on a Maxima. So I played your clip and MAN they sound wicked cool! What a surprise when I heard it. A great sound and you should be proud of the way it came out. One question though, are you getting any resonance feedback at certain rpm ranges? That was the one thing I didn;t like too much on my old setup was around 1500 to 2200 rpm I would get a resonance in the cabin.

Great job.

I would like to hear your exhaust from inside the car so i can get a feel for how loud it will be. That is of course if you feel like going through the trouble
Thanks,

Those Magnaflows sound pretty damn good and I would say very close to my Greddy's. I had my car dynoed so I got a chance to really hear them open up and they sounded SICK. Had a few guys watching the dynos and they all commented on loving the sound from the Greddy's. Would love to get a vid up for you guys but dont have a vid camera. Maybe by the time I get my car dynoed again

Need Magnaflow help

Does the magnaflows fit the 05 max with out mods? Wanted to know if something that I can do or the shop.

Do I just order the magnaflows or do I have to order pipes as well. This is the first time that I have wanted to change to exhaust on my car. I know this may sound dumb but I just am not sure. Thanks for the help guys.

Hello all. I've just installed the Greddy SP2, y-pipe and Injen cold air intake on my 05 max. All I have to say is DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Greddy is deep but surprisingly quiet but when you jump on it at about 4500rmp, you can really hear the intake work. The power increase is pretty substantial. Great products to add horsepower.

I'm not really worried about inspection cause I can just re-install the stock exhaust. But if I get too lazy, I have a guy that can do the smog for me (if you know what I mean). I'll try and get video of the look and sound of the exhaust soon as possible. Thanks.

For the people that have the greedy sp2. All that I can find is for the SE. I have an 05sl. Are the exhaust the same for the 05 SE and SL?
