High Beam Trouble!!!

my left high beam seems to have burnt out both of my lows work fine but when i switch to high the left one is out any suggestions

had a similar prob

it would go out and then come back

and then a week later i saw the the harness had melted
i had to go and buy a 9004 socket ...
funny thing was i waas running stock watted aftermarket bulbs
YES StoCK Wattage!

hmm iC iC ill have to check it out next weekend im also running stock wattage bulbs wierd any other suggestions

This symptom could be caused by a faulty combination switch. That's the column-mounted switch you use to turn the lights on and off.

Swap your bulbs - maybe you just have a burned

out headlamp.

i should try that but my lows work so i believe its something in the wiring

Your headlight bulbs have two independent filaments, one for high and one for low beam. The fact that your low beams work proves only that the ground side of the circuit is good.

oOo i did not realize that they had 2 seperate filaments i thought they only had seperate wiring ok well thanx for the info il make sure i check it out
