weird

my car has needed a tranny flush for a while now. maybe since november, (4 months ago) because i noticed the atf was a little gritty. anyway, recently my car has been shifting like crap and sometimes if the car is not properly warmed up, i will give it a little gas in drive and the car will rev up a lot and not go anywhere, and i am almost positive that is why. but what has thrown me off is this: when i start my car (the temperature gauge needle is obviously below the c) before it warms up, i will go to change gears and put the car into drive or reverse, and the car will rapidly drop rpm's and stall out on me. does anybody know if a tranny flush will fix that as well? if not then i may be getting rid of my maxima cuz i am sooo sick of fixing it.
thanks

has the tranny fluid turned brownish yet? b/c if it still has an amber tint then you're still in the clear.
