b-pipe + muffler

If I get a new b-pipe and new muffler, how does the muffler attach to the b-pipe? Clamps? Or does it need welding?

Also, what is everyones setups for aftermarket b-pipe and muffler? I'm thinking resonated budget or warpspeed b-pipe with a dynamax super turbo muffler...

Hey, first you can have it welded or a flange welded to the b-pipe. It sounds as if you and I are getting the same set-up. I live in the NE, so I'm going with a resonated stainless custom bent b-pipe and a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler. All for $350.
A nice deep sound w/o being obnoxious. also, a good exhaust shop can make you a b-pipe for less than Budget and you won't need stainless b/c you don't have to deal with the white stuff.
Good luck

The shop made a new axle pipe while they were putting on muffler and b-pipe. Very small, I don't think they charged me for it either.

You can see where they also had to take out an inch of the b-pipe right before it disappears behind the right rear tire. The rear O2 never officially separated itself from the stock pipe either, due to rust and heat.

My best advice is find a good exhaust shop.
