--the bottem part of 3rd gens the "2 tone" color..(is the color the same for all 3rd gens?) what color is it?
this new ve5 has many small rust marks..(8 in total, 4 around the trunk latch) i really wana get a small wirewheel and grinder and take care of all of them.
any color codes? or does anyone know if they sell that dark gray color in a small "auto paint" can?
--I'm drainnig my tranny and filling with mt90 today... can't wait. just one small thing... the drain plug is near the shift rod, and the fill plug is the 1/2 inch plug in the front of the tranny right?,ok.. well the fill plug has silicone (gasket maker type stuff) around it,(in the threads) some one told me, the last time it was filled they just put that stuff around it so they didnt have to risk over-tightening that plug. ever heard of this?.. i really dont wana start pulling that plug out and find it striped
thanx in advance

I dunno what the grey is. the darker color cars have black on them. that's what mine is anyway, but mine's also been repainted by a previous owner.
tranny fluid... you're correct. drain is by the shift rod. fill is the square plug in front.
that's just sealer they use on it. you can use teflon tape or some silicone sealant. don't screw it in too tight and just let the sealant keep it from leaking.. If you don't use new sealant on it, it will slowly seep out no matter how tight you get that plug.
