HP Brake Pads/Rotors, or OEM?

Is it worth it to spend the extra money on slotted or cross drilled rotors and/or high performance pads, or just stick with the OEM? Let me know your feedback on your brake equipment and experiences.

i have oem brakes right now that are in need of being replaced. i plan on getting powerslot slotted rotors and hawk brake pads. i have heard that is a good combo. i would not get oem brakes... im not a fan of them.

I think the best benifit is that they are plated so they won't rust as easy.

Incubus, which slotted rotors were you looking at, Brembo? Just curious because I saw those on tirerack.com, along with the hawk pads.

In my opinion, they are not worth it. Unless, you do some auto crossing or racing. If you are just on the street, OEM are good.

it depends on the power you are putting out also. the more horses you have the more you will need to upgrade your braking system rotors, brakes, calipers. but if your not really modded then oem is good enough. unless your going for the hot looking braking system and wheel combo

oem's tend to fade very easily. if you drive somewhat aggressively, getting higher friction pads wouldn't be a bad idea. as far as drilled/slotted rotors go, they're mostly for show.
