DYNO in HOUSTON - - Saturday 5/5 >>RSVP required
Ok,
As most of you know I am working on the header project, and recently had OEM manifolds modified to work with a good baseline for the header design....Anyway,
Saturday, May 5 in Houston, Tx at Carboy (the new shop), I've secured Saturday (tenative) for a group of us Maxima.org members to do some runs. Here's the scoop:
Normally Carboy charges $65 for 3 runs. If we can secure 10 people, we will get a reduced price of $45 for 3 runs. There are only 10 slots available so you'd better confirm ASAP.
If you are interested in using the A/F attachments for tuning, the cost is $65 for 3 runs. You will not need this for baseline runs or comparisons, just if you will be tuning while your car is strapped to the dyno.
Please respond via email (below) to CONFIRM that you will be attending. To ensure we don't have 4-5 people flake-out, and ultimately have to pay $20 more, I would like to collect the $$$ in advance if possible via paypal, or secure a deposit via CC. If you secure with a credit card, it will just be an authorization for the $45, and you can pay cash at the dyno to Carboy, or if you pay with paypal, I will pay the $45 to Carboy for your runs. LIMIT IS 10 CARS...
****** CARBOY was reluctant to do a group deal for the following reasons:
1) With a group it is harder to control the $$$ and the runs, so that is the reason for the pre-payment
At the Dallas dyno run a few people never paid, not sure why, but this won't happen here.
2) With groups at a dyno, large crowds tend to gather around the PC, so strict shop policies will be followed (I promised them)
3) See # 1.
This is a brand NEW, dynojet 1000 hp chassis dyno with the A/F tuning capabilites. Carboy's brand new facility is on Bisonnett inside the beltway (betweeen 59 & Beltway 8).
RE-CAP :
What : Dyno runs for Maxima.Org members
Where: Carboy, 9854 Bissonnett (between beltway 8 & 59)
$$$$ : $45 for 3 runs if 10 cars (A/F is $20 more)
When : Saturday, May 5th, 2001 (Time: TBA)
Why : because we've never done this in Houston
How : Email me (below) for confirmation. Pre-pay will get the $20 discount, if you don't pre-pay, your runs will be $65.
