Anyone know if the 240SX FSTB fits the A32 Maxima ?

wild one for me, i have heard some talk but dont know anything about it. will a fstb from any other nissan vehicle such as the 240sx fit the a32 maxima ?

who knows, on a hunch a friend took a shift **** off his rx7 (batman model) and it worked perfect on my shifter, so who knows ?

just thought i would see if it was possible or heard of ? anything to put a nismo fstb on the max, you think since they offer a radiator cap, oil cap, the fstb would be the next logical step, lol

Id say its worth a try. Us 2nd genners use FSTB's from the earlier Altimas, since they dont make them for our cars.

I doubt it but I don't have any evidence that it won't. Just a hunch. I would expect the 240 to be narrower.

yeah, i just got through talking with a guy over here that is going to do this, turns out he has a 3rd gen, i finally found a fstb to replace the one that was stolen, i was hoping to force a nismo fstb on the chariot from a 240, but im happy.
that rx7 was a 96 model.

also 240sx nismo shift ***** will work

A 240 fstb will not work as a 4th gen fstb. However if you buy the 240 fstb+rstb set, you can use the fstb bar and rstb brackets to make a 4th gen rstb.

yeah a sentra or 200sx will make a rear stb.

240sx being RWD and a much different body design and suspension setup probably won't share components like that.
