Aftermarket stereo

Hey all,

I know this has been covered before, but without being able to search i cant find what i was looking for. here goes....

1. what dash kits are available for the 2004-2005 maxima. i have the head unit waiting to be installed but i cant remember what the dash kit was called.

2. is there something available that would enable me to keep the steering wheel controls after i get the stereo?

3. and third, can anyone recommend a good stereo shop in orange or LA county, CA?

Thanks for the help in advance guys.

edditty

by the way, i was on the news!!

I think www.crutchfield.com has a lower price on that...

Good luck with your stereo, It must be a pain to get AM with the 6-gens due to their dash/center console.

Oh wow,now that i know they make the steering wheel thing, i'll have to re think getting my HU. My excuse for not getting it was because i didn't want to lose those controls. Tho the dash kit (lay over) may be the new excuse.

That swix adaptor is a royal PITA. I guess it's possible I erred during the install, but on my 5th gen it works about 75% of the time. Better than not all, I guess.
