What motor?

Trying to figure this out so that I can sell parts on ebay -

A few months ago I repaired a 4th gen ('96) maxima, with a V6 & manual tranny. The motor said "V6 3000" across the grey plastic piece that was used to cover up the direct fire coils.

From the 3000 part, I assume it is a 3.0L, but how can I tell if it is a VE, VG, VQ, etc?

I'm trying to figure this out cause I still have quite a few parts from the motor swap and want to sell them cause they won't fit my 3rd gen maxima and my engine runs great anyway. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, all 1995-2001 Maximas have the VQ30DE. VG is 3rd gens, and the VE30DE was only used in 1992-1994 SE models.

actually 1995-1999 is VQ30DE and 2000-20001 is VQ30DEK.

Anyway, you have a VQ30DE.
