Anyone paint their rotors?
Anyone paint their rotors?
Now before you guys freak out, I am not talking about the actual part of the rotor that makes contact with the brake bad. I am talking about the outer edge of rotor, and the section that makes contact with the hub. I wanted to coat these two areas with high temp paint or something similar, to help prevent the rotor from corroding as fast. I have seen a few types of rotors on the net, that are manufactured that way, but were pretty expensive. I just bought new brembo replacement rotors, and want some opinions or ideas to help prevent these new rotors from rusting out so quick, Thanks.

that's stupid and pointless, don't do it.
As to brembo, I have them installed, as well. They don't rust nowhere near as fast and as much as OEM rotors. They come zinc coated from the factory and shouldn't rust fast.
brembo rotors = little rust after couple months
OEM rotors = **** load of rust after only 2 weeks

Get a set of plated rotors, the hub area on those never rust. I'm going on 3 years with Brembo plated rotors, no rust what so ever, just a nice clean hub area.
