Hey guys, this morning the car was idling weirdly, the idle move from 1000rpm to 2000rpm back and forth, to me it sounds like a bad MAF but can anyone confirm this ? Also any good place to buy a replacement MAF for 2k1 I mean without having to mortgage my house.

i would first check for any obvious air/vacuum leaks. after working on the car one night, i forgot to tighten the clamp on the hose on the tb and my idle did the same you described. if you find out you need a maf, call dave burnette @ 888-254-6060 or jerryromenissan.com and type in MAXIMA for 12% off.
