you prolly couda saved ALOT of money if you did it urself. but I have also been thinking about doing it...seeing as...well...my car is going on 79k and it has 1 tune up in its WHOLE life and that was at 30k

Cleaning Engine Bay, added additional 20 HP. Made my car run so much better.
Just joking.

Why did the knock sensor and EGR valve require replacement at that low mileage?
I have 57,000 miles on mine and none of that stuff requires replacement. As well it idles perfectly and has never had the throttle body or IACV cleaned.

I have 116K and have only done sparks and oil and such. Up on the next comming weeks will be Oil/Tranny/Sparks(NGK finally).
Is there really a need to replace the PCV if there is nothing wrong with it? I cleaned mine with Carbon Cleaner and a tooth brush, but is replacing really necesarry if its not faulty?
