I need to replace the coil and or power transister on my 86. The parts
stores lists 2 different manufacturers for the coil as originial equipment, and a different power transister for each coil. Does it make any difference which coil I get, as long as I get the matching power transister? My mechanic says that for the cost I should just pack them in ice and keep going and replace the ice when it melts.
