my exhaust (muffler, pipe, cat. converter) seems to be rusting a little and maybe someone out there knows where i can get a whole new system for a good price and something without the noise, don't like the noise coming out of the muffler. thanks

Try to find a slighly used oem exhaust system. Any aftermarket one will be louder than stock.

i agree with what NickStam said... most of the new exhaust systems are crazy loud... I was looking at the Greddy the other day, man that thing is LOUD! But I guess personal preference comes first, so far the one exhaust that actually caught my eye, is the Stillen... can't wait till I get that baby!

hey nick.....don't u think he'd be alrite with an aftermarket system tho since he doesn't have the y-pipe? i think the y-pipe is the biggest player when it comes to noise. i had an aftermarket exhaust w/o y-pipe and it wasn't loud at all, but after i got the y-pipe it got a ton louder. i guess it's all preference. if u want no change in noise, go with OEM...if u don't mind a slight noise level, i think u'll be alrite w/ aftermarket as long as you don't have a y-pipe.

I agree with sachin98max. I had a complete cat back 2.5" madrel bent exhaust, removed resonator and a turbo muffler, and the exhaust was only a little louder than stock. After the y-pipe though my car got much louder. o yeah and it only cost me 225 for all aluminized pipe muffler and crome tip. Came out really nice and still looks pretty close to stock. Hope that helps.

I don't mind the noise. We need to get some dB readings on the stock, Apexi, Greddy, and Stillen. Then we won't have to guess on which is louder.

You should get the Apexi WS catback.. they are the most quiet aftermarket exhaust and if it's still too loud for you then you can buy a silencer from apexi for it. They sell for around $375

money....

OKay, I REALLY want to do this, but I am soooo poor. I will be coming back to ask this question again in a few months I bet. I'd rather keep it pretty quiet myself...so as not to annoy the neighbors anyway.
