White Faced Gauges (help Please)

I RECENTLY BOUGHT A PAIR OF WHITE FACED GAUGES FOR MY 96GXE,(THE WHOLE CLUSTER) THEY LOOK AND WORK GREAT BUT THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THE ODOMETER IS NOT WORKING SO THE CAR IS STUCK ON 58,000 MILES AND MY CAR ORGINALY HAS 64,000 IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO FIX THIS PLEASE HELP!

I would first check the reset button on the trip odometer. Press it firmly several times while driving to see if the disconnector will re-engage. If that doesn't fix it, I would suggest that you remove the gauge cluster and clean the electrical contacts on the cable connectors and the printed circuit board on the back of the cluster. Get an aerosol can of CRC Electronics cleaner from NAPA.

I don't mean to dog on your question, I have no idea how to fix it, unless your cable came loose or broke. But it's not necessarily the worst problem to have....

never mind guys i fixed it, thanks for the info, i had to take out the original black speedometer take of the black overlay and put the white one over that put it back and all fixed the odometer is rolling again. taking off the needles was a little scary thogh.
