stillen front lip

this may be a stupid question but i was wondering if it was better to have the lip on the car before getting painted or should i just wait to get it painted?

Have it painted separatley. There may be some sections that will not be able to have paint cleanly applied when done attached.

wat i meant was should i just put the lip on, i guess so it kind of molds to the car, and then when its time to get painted, take it off to get painted. or should i just wait to get it painted and then install it.
