No, my door is not open... for all you smart aleck's out there. the "open door light is on very faintly, and sometimes it goes up to half the bightness of if you were to open the door. and if i do open the door, the light shines bright. any idea's why this is going on? thanks

it could be the car wants you to get out of it- maybe she doesn't like you anymore! try having someone else sit in the driver's seat and see what happens! j/k i've never heard of this happening with the door light - but may want to get the sensors checked out! good luck -

Actually, yes... I had to. when i got into the accident back in october, she hit my door, and 1/4 pannel, so in order to use my car, i had to tug on the door to open it, and slam it shut for it to lock in. you think that is the reason??? hmm, maybe i should take it back to nissan...

Check the button that senses the if the door is open or not. Maybe it was pushed in during the accident or maybe its sticking.

it has to be the sensor... when the door closes... "the sensor" door is not pushing the sensor all the way in....
