Snow pics with 5th gen....good times (and tires)

well, the weather is not condusive to working on the car, but snow is always a nice background for photos.....so thought I'd share a few I took today/tonight....and yeah, Northern guys, I know....that's not much snow.....

---on a side note, the new Toyo Proxes 4 are decent in the snow....traction accellerating is so-so (not as good as the Falken 512's), but lateral and braking traction is very good (better than the Falkens)

the first three are my favorite, the next 3 are ok....

Boy, your reverse lights sure are blue. What bulb is that?

I have PIAA something or other and they have a blue tint, but not as much as yours.

Those are the Polarg M6 or whatever...funny though, they don't look all that blue when it's sunny...just when it's cloudy out....

Nice pics Irish...The black or dark colored Max was my first choice, but alas they were all gone when I went to buy new in 2000...So I had to settle for sterling silver. Black looks great with the black SE rears, and the blue backup lites are cool. Not to mention those sexxxyyy G35 wheels...and Props for keeping the 00 exhaust original too...I like the fact that it's unique for 00.

As far as tires in the snow goes...Up here in Mass we get so much that I'm not happy with the way the Pilot Sport a/s's are doing on my Max (although I'm sure that the autotragic trans doesnt help either) But next year I'm gonna get a set of 4 wheel/tires just for the snowy season...Blizzaks on probly 16" rims...We just get too much snow up here for anything else...tired of drivin on pins n needles every time it snows.

Very nice. Although I live in NJ, my 02 has never been in the snow.

Snow

Currently in the middle of a 25cm (10") snowfall. Have Blizzaks on 16" rims. Just walked through the snow with no problems. Good investment.

Sweet pics irish...

I haven't been around in a while, but all i can say is that the max handles VERY well, if you put the power down smartly. throw on a seat of snowtires and its great.

nice! The G35 rims do look really nice on your car. I didn't really think they were a good fit for the Max before I saw them on your car.

I really really want those fog lights, I was wondering how the Max HIDs would look with the yellow fogs. Now this mod is number one on my list!!

Great, thanks! So theses capsules just fit over your existing fog lights? I am assuming it's an easy mod????

Irish, your 5th gen is class...it's one of my favorites on this forum.

Your enthusiasm for modding it and just basically making it "yours" is pretty cool, too.
