EGR Valve replacement

Has anyone ever replaced their EGR? I have had the code on for a while and want to get it done. How complicated is it. I'm still a beginner as a do it yourself mechanic.

which code do you have? there are several for egr valve ...

Thanks Chickan! I have the 0400 code that is in the 1st and last link you provided. I will try and use a vacuum this weekend and see if my fix will be as simple.

I also have a P0400 code...now does that mean I have a problem with the EGRC Solenoid valve, the EGR valve, or the EGRC-BPT Valve??
