Camber on a lowered max

i'm looking at buying a '99 max. the problem however is that its been lowered but i can tell just by looking at it that the camber is all sorts of screwed up and the tires are wearing oddly. so my question is what can be done to get the tires straight, do i have to raise the car back up to the stock height ( that's what my mechanic says i have to do ), or is it possible to adjust the camber enough to get them all the way back to where the way it should be. also how much should i look at paying for a max

if the drop is too severe yo may need to buy a camber kit, but definitely dont raise it.

I guarantee you the person who did the suspension never had it aligned. Thats why the inside edge of the front tires is wearing. Just have the front toe set and put a new set of tires on and you should be just fine. Do you know what springs and struts are installed?

man, just take it to someone who knows what they are doing with the alignment.
i have my car dropped at 1 finger gap in front and 1.5 fingers in rear and my alignment guy pulled it up to specs. well almost but pretty darn close without any camber kits or bolts. i wish everyone could get an alignment from this guy, he does race cars and everything and he knows what he is doing.

where did you go? the shop i took it to couldnt get my alignment right. they did it twice and said both times its within spec but i still have a slight pull to the right. i need to take it somewhere where they know what they are doing!
