Fuel Injector Specs - Maxima SE

I was checking sources for fuel injectors for a 92 SE, and most places list two types, one with a blue dot and the other with a black dot. What's the difference with these? Is one a newer improved version? Seems like I remember reading how they changed the design.

Also does anyone have a cleaning procedure for injectors? Would kinda like to get everything in top shape if I'm gonna have it all apart.

Well if you are replacing the injectors you don't need to clean them, err... unless you are getting used injectors that is.
It's not a new improved thing. The color codes are to differentiate between the VG's and VE's if I recall correctly.
I know 91se uses the blue mark, but I can't say for sure if that means you use black ones on your 92. I guess someone else will know tho.

blue dot and black dot = 89-92 VG
Green dot and Yellow dot = 93-94 VG
Red top = VE
