So who here has bought an extended warranty on their Maxima? How much was it? Does it cover non-powertrain ****, like speakers, or gages, or interior lights you know the non-powerplant items? Any links would be appreciated.

i havent gotten the warranty that i discuss because i'm waiting until i'm about a month away from my original bumper to bumper expiring.

 

I purchased EW from Warranty Direct...The only reason I went with them is because they stood a little above the rest...They had the trip interruption, roadside service, etc...

I also got the emissions option. Even though my state doesn't have emissions, it covers the emissions components, like the MAF, etc...

the reason i like them is because they'll pay to replace a part if it's not broken. for example if your power window motor isn't working at 100% in a few years they'll replace it for you.

which policy did you go with and how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking?

also, i know they'll pay for the parts but do they cover the labor as well? and do you have to go to any specific mechanic or can you go to your own. or can you go to nissan if you wanted something to be replaced with nissan parts?
