Very loud squeeking

Very loud squeeking

i hear a lot of squeeking from something under the hood of my car and in the last week it has gotten worse. anyone have ne suggestions on what it could be and what i could do about it??

Under the hood of your car... Thats definitely the main bearing. You need a new motor.

Seriously. There are a lot of things under the hood.

Or you can get a louder radio

funny... It sounds like belt squeeking but i wanted to know if it just needs to be lubed or sumthin or do i need new belt?

Try to tighten it or loosen it just a little and see if that works.

You can get belt dressing spray and try that.

If that doesnt work, change the belt.

If it still squeaks then you need to go to someone who knows what they're doing and get it looked at.

maybe check the tension of the belts, and tighten them if necessary, is it worse at higher throttles? like you gun it and the squeaking goes nuts? that would probaly be belts.
