I took my dash off so that I could paint it and now my turn signals don't work at all. Did I blow a fuse or are the turn signals connected to something in the dash. I'm planning on painting my dash this weekend and I had to drive to school this morning. I'm kinda worried about driving with no signals. Somebody help me please!!!!!

have you tried changing the fuse? they'r enot pricey, so I'd try that first. May be a bad connection too.

You know the plastic cover for the fuse box? If you look on the inside you'll see the schematic for all of the fuses. Use that little white fuse grabber to pull out the fuse and check them out.

that you do not have the "Hazard Button" installed, correct? If not put it back in and see what happens.

how did that happen? Oh well since it happened, the hazards and turn signals are on the same circuit and the switch needs to be there for them to work.

I just wanted to thank everyone who replied to this thread for making me feel like an idiot. i had already checked the fuses and i had put everything back in correctly!! Just because i'm only 17 doesn't mean that i'm stupid... just because i'm a newbie on this forum doesn't mean that i don't know anything about maxima's!!! None of ya'll were correct.. i'm not sure exactly what was wrong, but it fixed itself after a day of just sitting in the sun....

so whatever

thanks for trying though..

A gentle word of constructive criticism...

When you post a question on this forum and get an answer you are getting something for nothing. It behooves you to take a more moderate tone in your posts. If you become known for sarcasm or rudeness you will discover that your questions get few answers or none at all. Just because you're only 17 doesn't mean you can't be well mannered...

I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry and once again I'm sorry

i just got a little stressed about it not working and i did feel like an idiot from the way most of ya'll talked to me, but i apologize for my tone... my dad is very strict and i got chewed out for my signals not working... the reason they did not work was because the hazards weren't plugged in when i tried them... then i thought my keys were in the ignition and it was turned to accessories, but they weren't

I apologize
