Decided to change my clear sidemarker bulbs to brightest white possible. As well as the front and rear turning bulbs. Suggestions please.....

 

for brightest, go for led's... there's write-up that u could search for that'd give you plenty of info

Would 4-LED bulbs light up the whole marker ?

 

you might get pulled over for having super whites. I got pulled over so running amber front and red back.

 

hehe i was trying to ignore that but at the same time going of a different look..on the safer side ... any recommendations .. i currently have clear sidemarkers..ion yellow bulbs on front and hyper red on rear.... help..

 

LEDs are too directional and i imagine would not light up the whole side marker. try polarg m4s. but like ammi said, you'll get pulled over if a cop sees that your side markers arent the right colors.

 

Yup well thing is ... my rear turning bulbs are hyper red just like the rear sidemarkers and dont match too well with the brake lights ... may just have to find a darker red..anyother reds besides hyper red... ?

 

Anyone with a majestic blue max with modified sidemarkers ??

 

I have Polargs in front and back and I've never had cops say anything to me...Even got pulled over at night with my really really bright blinker (Polarg) flashing white when pulling over and they didn't say anything about the lights at all...I see you're from Miami..now I've only been there once, but something is telling me that with the extreme number of modified cars out there you have little to worry about if you decide to do white lights in your sidemarkers

Well... Called Miami Dade Police ... they say as long as theyre not red or blue then its cool ...for those of you who have clear with white bulb sidemarkers .. in miami at least ...

 

Im with Kruppa,...i have Polarg all the way around with clear side markers. Looks clean and not riced out at all

For $9, I got super bright LED's from ebay shipped. I have them on all four side markers and they are crazy bright. They even light the ground.

 

What kind?? Are they 4-Leds in each bulbs or do they come with more ? Got a link to em? thanks...

I have 194 inverted lense LEDs from www.autolumination.com with my clear corners... look awfully good to me... for pics, see my homepage...

 

How white are they? Cant really tell by the pics. I have some white ones in there now but are kinda dull and not hyper white.

i got PIAA super bright whites wedge 194 bulbs... Miaimi and South florida cops will harass you on anything.. just dont give them a reason to pull you over I.E. Racing or speeding.... they rarely pull you over because of a simple White light.. if they do..they got something against you or they really really bored and looking to write tickets up for commission

 

Good deal Komax.. i also ordered the B1 Hybrid Polargs to compare...well see how that goes ..never seen those inverted LEDs before ..pretty neat ..Have you seen any turning signal bulbs like that with inverted LEDs? Link please.. i also wanna coordinate with the same type of white with the front and rear turning bulbs. whats our bulb size on those again front-1157 and rear-1156?? Correct me if im wrong...the forum search engine doesnt seem to be workin for me right now ..

I've never been able to get LEDs to work on the corners... at all... Has anyone? Is there something I'm missing?

Current can only pass through LEDs in one direction, make sure you had them in the right way.
Keep in mind if you do the mod so your clear corner blinks with your turn signal, it won't work during the day (when headlights are off) since current is trying to go the wrong way through it. Of course if you put them in the other way then they won't work at night.
