Weird Problem - Engine Cut Off While Driving

I just got off work and was on my way home when all of a sudden I noticed that is was really hard to turn the wheel for a lane change. I looked down and my tach was at 0 rpms and my red brake light was on. I pulled over and restarted my car and noticed that only my ABS light came on instead of the usual door open, abs, and brake. The car started fine and I drove home without any problem. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Does anyone know what the problem could be? I guess I'll try to pull any codes from my ECU later to see if that will tell me something.

Nobody's ever had anything like this happen before? It hasn't happened in the last few days BTW, but I'm still worried that it might pop up again.

Thanks, I really need to do the tune-up. I have the fuel filter, TB cleaner, and plugs already but I've been lazy. Maybe I should just pay somebody to do it if I can't find the time.
