GLE Gauge swap with SE Gauge?

Hey guys I was wondering if all the plug is the same for the gle gauge cluster and the SE gauge cluster. I have a 97 GLE and I just bought a 95 or 96 SE gauge cluster to do the led light so I was wondering if all plug that connect in the back is the same? I remember that in the "HOW TO SECTION" they have it but I did a search and I wasn't able to find anything. SO would someone please help me out here. Thanks.

Should plug and play since 95-97's have the same cluster setup. 98-99's is when they went digital.

Everything should work, just that the odometer will read the mileage on the cluster you bought, not the actual mileage.

Why would the odometer read the mileage on the replacement? I thought this was directly from the ECU and what mileage is currently on the car . Please help everyone.

The milelage is held in the actual cluster i beleive i have read on here of people using somthing (not sure what) to turn the milage on the replacment cluster either foward or back but that might have been only on digital clusters not sure good luck though

He's swapping the cluster on a '97... which isn't digital.
